The educational toy for learning numbers and counting is a set consisting of a wooden base with holes, 15 wooden tiles with printed numbers (from 1 to 15), and 15 wooden tokens (one side is printed with a solid color, and the other with numbers from 1 to 15). Thanks to this puzzle design, learning numbers and counting can be done in several ways.

Preschoolers love to discover the world and their own capabilities, which makes them increasingly independent. Learning numbers and counting is a very important and significant step in a child's development. Toddlers possess natural mathematical abilities that, when properly developed, will produce spectacular results. With our set, children can create their own play scenarios involving counting or learning numbers, which will additionally stimulate their creativity and logical thinking skills. Meanwhile, parents and caregivers can follow the child's lead and create a friendly environment for learning, in accordance with Montessori principles.

Our set is complemented by 7 suggested games. The scenarios also include possible modifications for individual games and tips on what to pay attention to so that the play is both educational and an exercise for specific skills. When creating game suggestions, we tried to ensure the toy grows with the child, making it attractive for both a 3-year-old and children starting their adventure with school.

Our toy for learning to count helps shape primarily: concentration, visual perception, eye-hand coordination, fine motor skills, logical thinking, and memory. Did you know that:

1. Concentration is the ability to focus attention on something specific. It can be an activity being performed, a specific object, or instructions spoken by a teacher. Concentration of attention ensures the proper development of a child and is essential at every stage of their education.
2. Visual perception allows a child to know and understand the world around them. It is also essential in further education when learning to read, write, and count. A child playing with several elements with different pictures must focus their vision on them and make an assessment of what they see, e.g., colors, shapes, similarities, and differences. This is an introduction to more advanced analysis, which is, among other things, the basis of logical thinking.
3. Eye-hand coordination enables the achievement of precision in movements. It is necessary for daily activities – from eating independently, getting dressed, drawing, or writing, to physical activity. Eye-hand coordination additionally requires training the child's hands and fingers, i.e., fine motor skills.
4. Fine motor skills are the precise movements of the hands and fingers, such as squeezing, stroking, kneading, and grasping. They are essential in many areas of a child's life and achieving independence (e.g., brushing teeth, buttoning buttons, eating, writing).
5. Logical thinking allows for the analysis of a situation, drawing conclusions, and developing possible solutions based on gathered information. It is one of the skills that a child may find difficult to achieve. Why is it worth practicing logical thinking? Because it is necessary at every stage of our life.
6. A young child's mind is like a sponge. Several-year-olds absorb a vast amount of new words and information instantly, which allows them to become familiar with their surroundings. For this process to proceed without disruption, constant memory training is essential.
