Naturally, at family gatherings. We are a team of seven creating Smart Memories: two couples with children: Magda and Mariusz with their preschoolers, Filipek and Staś, and Daniel and Iwona with Maciek, who is still a little baby and the most recent addition to our group; it is worth mentioning that Magda and Daniel are siblings.

You might think it’s strange – children creating a business. But that is exactly the case for us. We value close relationships with our children; they are the center of our attention, they inspire us and open our eyes to important aspects of development. Without our children and our concern for them, Smart Memories would not exist. We spent a lot of time talking about conscious and active parenting and about what characteristics toys supporting a child’s harmonious development should have. As a modern mom, following the needs of supporting her older son’s development, Magda became our family expert in this field. For months, she searched for information on how to support areas such as: speech development, concentration, perceptiveness, hand-eye coordination, logical thinking, fine motor skills, and pre-writing skills; she delved into topics concerning the impact of swinging and supporting sensory integration.

The time spent looking for suitable toys, and above all, for information on how to play wisely with children, resulted in the idea of creating a brand of products for children that will make it easier for conscious parents and caregivers to effectively support their little ones' development through engaging play. We want to save you time by offering high-quality products along with ready-made play scenarios and various ways of using a single toy, as well as a description of how a given product supports the child's development.

We know how important it is to feel a bond with parents, grandparents, or other caregivers. It is we, the adults, who create our children’s world, and consequently, we help create shared memories. Creative play that supports children in their constant development is an important part of this. The brand name refers to this.

Polish production

Our wooden toys and swings are created entirely in Poland, from concept to production. The assortment is created primarily based on manual labor, which gives our products a unique character.

When developing our toys, we are inspired by the Montessori method of education, Waldorf pedagogy, as well as forest education. We are nature enthusiasts and take pleasure in exploring the world, which is why our products will encourage children to develop natural and scientific interests such as: ornithology, oceanography, entomology, cosmonautics, paleontology, and many others. The toys will support milestones in a child’s development and take care of the development of, among others, fine motor skills, speech, intellect, sensory integration processes, concentration, and interest in science through play.
