The Montessori rocker is a wooden, multifunctional piece of furniture inspired by the Maria Montessori method.

When chosen correctly, it will provide joy, relaxation, and support for development for many years, or even generations! It has a multitude of uses, and the only limit is the imagination, which children have in abundance. Playing with the rocker supports the development of gross motor skills, balance, hand-eye coordination, and also promotes concentration. Exercises on the Montessori rocker stimulate proprioception, which is the ability to sense the position and movement of the body without visual aid.

Three ways to play

The Montessori rocker offers two usage configurations. In the first, with the rockers facing upward, it acts as a rocking chair, perfect for blissful lounging and relaxation. Rocking helps with calming down, stress reduction, and relaxation. The second configuration, with the rockers positioned vertically, opens up a world of endless adventure for children! Climbing, building a fort, a store counter, car racing, a tunnel – one device, infinite possibilities! The third option is attaching the slide/climbing board to the rocker standing on its rockers – which allows the set to be used as a mini playground.
