The Montessori rocker is a multifunctional wooden piece of furniture inspired by the Maria Montessori method.

When chosen correctly, it will provide joy, relaxation, and developmental support for many years, or even generations! It has a multitude of uses, with the only limit being imagination, which children have in abundance. Playing with the rocker supports the development of gross motor skills, balance, hand-eye coordination, and also promotes concentration. Exercises on the Montessori rocker stimulate proprioception, which is the body's ability to sense its position and movement without visual aid.

Three ways to play

The Montessori rocker offers two configurations for use. In the first, with the rockers facing upward, it acts as a rocking chair, perfect for blissful lounging and relaxation. Rocking helps with calming down, stress reduction, and relaxation. The second configuration, with the rockers set vertically, opens up a world of endless adventure for children! Climbing, building a fort, a shop counter, car races, a tunnel – one device, infinite possibilities! The third option is attaching a slide/climbing ramp to the rocker standing on its rockers, which allows the set to be used as a mini playground.

This size of rocker is intended for children up to approximately 7-8 years of age. Even infants can use it.

You can additionally purchase a tabletop measuring 98 cm x 48 cm, which turns the rocker into a table, as well as a chair measuring 34 cm x 33 cm x 62 cm, with a seat measuring 27 cm x 29 cm (seat height 26 cm).
