• spot cleaning: blot, do not rub; in case of a spill, immediately wipe the area with a clean cloth; avoid rubbing, as this may push the dirt deeper into the fabric; use a mild soap solution; mix a few drops of mild liquid detergent with warm water; dip a cloth into this solution, wring out the excess water, and gently wipe the stain; use another clean cloth dampened with cold water to rinse off the soap; pat the area dry with a towel; the cover is removable and machine washable using mild detergents;
