Toys for visual perception

Visual perception is the ability to interpret what our eyes see. It allows a child to learn about and understand the world around them. While looking, a toddler focuses on specific objects and evaluates what they see, e.g., colors, shapes, similarities, and differences – thus performing visual analysis and synthesis (i.e., perceiving a given object through the sense of sight and drawing conclusions from that observation). Visual perception is also essential for further education in learning to read, write, and count.
